Peppers might ask to be traded

Julius Peppers doesn't know if the Carolina Panthers will use their franchise tag later this week to retain his rights. But if they do, he knows what will happen next. "If they decided to use the tag on me," Peppers said yesterday, "the first thing that I would be doing is requesting a trade." (Winston-Salem Journal)
