Penn State Quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer Commits To Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech picked up its biggest football transfer portal commitment to date when Penn State quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer elected to join his former coaches in Blacksburg. He will be a redshirt sophomore in 2026. Grunkemeyer stepped in for an injured Drew Allar as Penn State’s quarterback in 2025, starting the final seven games of the season.
