Maxi Adams Named Los Angeles Times High School Basketball Player of the Year

North Carolina-bound Maximo Adams has been selected The Times’ boys basketball player of the year. Sierra Canyon went 30-1 and won the Southern Section Open Division championship and state Open Division title even though Adams was injured in the first quarter of the state final. He averaged 16 points and 7.2 rebounds with 10 double doubles.
