Louisville basketball lands Iowa transfer Alvaro Folgueiras

Iowa transfer forward Alvaro Folgueiras will play for Pat Kelsey at the University of Louisville next season. Folgueiras, a 6’10 native of Spain, averaged 8.4 points over 21 minutes per game last season with the Hawkeyes while shooting 33% from 3. He made one of the biggest shots in Iowa basketball history in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. (Card Chronicle)
