Style points count in March, but no style beats winning on the road with the conference race and No. 1 NCAA seeds up for grabs. UNC won a clawing, grunting road game last night in the style of a body-punching heavyweight. Center Tyler Hansbrough rose above the mass of Virginia Tech muscle and point guard Ty Lawson drove into the Hokies' defensive heart as the Tar Heels methodically carved out an 86-78 victory.
