Four-toed Lawson still equals UNC win
Posted Mar 9, 2009
Even on just “four toes.” Ty Lawson showed once again why he is the key to UNC marching to Detroit. The junior guard, who could have been playing in his last game at the Smith Center, was not 100 percent but still managed 13 points, nine assists and eight rebounds in another win over Duke. Lawson was not nearly as explosive as he was in the earlier meeting; however he was effective enough to keep his record unblemished in the “Battle of the Blues.”
