UNC student Faith Hedgepeth's accused killer pleads not guilty, 14 years later


Miguel Salguero-Olivares pleaded not guilty on Monday to the 2012 rape and killing of North Carolina student . His attorney presented the plea during a court hearing that will determine what evidence jurors can hear when the case goes to trial beginning Sept. 28. Salguero-Olivares was arrested nine years after Hedgepeth's killing. (Daily Tar Heel)
