Lawson's toe is a 'big' topic at ACC Tournament

Ty Lawson almost certainly will not play today, which could radically change the fortunes of UNC and other teams in the ACC Tournament. The conference player of the year jammed his big right toe a week ago. Because the Tar Heels cleared the ACC hurdle, they probably could hold Lawson out of the Virginia Tech quarterfinal, lose anywhere along the way and still receive a Get Out of Atlanta Free card from the NCAA selection committee.
