North Carolina holds off Virginia Tech

The last of three messages Coach Roy Williams had for UNC yesterday was "find a way" to win its ACC Tournament quarterfinal without injured point guard Ty Lawson. And UNC did, coming from behind in the final three minutes to nip Virginia Tech 79-76. Tyler Hansbrough repeated what he did last season when Lawson was out with a sprained ankle and carried the team, with late help from Deon Thompson.
