Ty Lawson could play this week

said yesterday that he thinks he'll be able to play next week when UNC opens play in the NCAA Tournament. Lawson said his injured right big toe is improving. "If it keeps going like it is now, I think I can go," Lawson said. "Two days ago I couldn't even walk on it. I couldn't even push off on it or anything like that. Today the swelling was down a lot and I was out there shooting before the game." (Winston-Salem Journal)
