Tar Heels sweep two in shortened series

UNC pounded out 14 hits, including three each from Dustin Ackley, Mike Cavasinni and Levi Michael, to cruise past Virginia Tech 13-5 in an ACC baseball game on Sunday in Blacksburg, Va. The No. 2-ranked Tar Heels (14-2, 4-1 ACC) also got a grand slam from Mark Fleury and three RBIs from Garrett Gore to sweep the rain-shortened series and claim their sixth straight win. The Hokies dropped to 10-6, 1-4 in the ACC.
