Ty Lawson, Roy Williams differ on toe outlook
Posted Mar 20, 2009
Roy Williams said Thursday that he has no idea whether point guard Ty Lawson will play in a second-round NCAA Tournament game Saturday against LSU. Lawson has missed three straight games with a jammed right big toe. "If he's able to practice [Friday] and do some things in practice, I'll probably play him," Williams said. “But if he's like he was [Wednesday], then I'm not going to play him." Lawson said he expects to play Saturday.
