Ed Davis' tourney debut solid for Heels

Ed Davis made his debut in the Big Dance a productive one. The lanky 6-foot-10 lefty pumped in a season-high 15 points and blocked four shots as UNC trounced Radford in the first round. When the Tar Heels meet LSU today with a Sweet 16 berth hanging in the balance, Davis stands prominently among a supporting cast whose significance continues to climb amid the ongoing saga of point guard Ty Lawson's jammed big toe.
