Lawson, UNC Tip-Toe Past LSU
Posted Mar 22, 2009
While Ty Lawson’s big right toe may have only been 70 percent in the moments prior to Saturday’s 84-70 victory over LSU in NCAA second round action, the ACC Player of the Year’s heart was beyond measure in igniting a late 11-0 rally to break open a 63-63 tie. The Ty Lawson that took the floor when the game tipped was average at best. What emerged from the locker room after halftime, however, bore a striking resemblance to Superman.
