Top South seeds head to Memphis for South Regional

North Carolina should be the favorite, but that all depends on the health of point guard Ty Lawson. Lawson, who sat out two ACC tourney games and an NCAA Tournament first-round win with a jammed right toe, played against LSU and scored 21 of his team-high 23 points in the second half. Even with all-America center Tyler Hansbrough playing harder than ever, it's no secret Carolina plays at a lower gear without Lawson.
