Right-hander Andrew Carraway tossed seven strong innings, and Steven Proscia and Jarrett Parker homered to lead No. 8 Virginia past No. 5 UNC, 5-2, Saturday at Boshamer Stadium. All-America Dustin Ackley belted his sixth home run and had two hits to pace the Tar Heels. Carraway held UNCto just three hits and one walk over seven innings, while striking out three.
