Beneath that serious countenance Ty Lawson wears on the basketball court is a playful point guard North Carolina coach Roy Williams jokingly calls "Dennis the Menace." The nickname surfaced after Lawson, a self-acknowledged jokester, would slip his hands into Williams' pockets during team-circle time as if he were searching for money. Once he discovered a $20 bill but didn't get it. (Raleigh News & Observer)
