Deon Thompson spoke in the past tense when talking about junior teammates Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington on Monday night. Whether that was a bit of foreshadowing or a slip of the tongue will become clearer in the days to come. Even if the Tar Heels' two guards opt to jump to the NBA this summer, Thompson said he looks forward to defending his team's NCAA title. (Charlotte Observer)
