Fans' Web recruiting concerns NCAA

On April 10, the Raleigh News & Observer ran a story about the North Carolina State athletic department shutting down a Facebook group entitled "John Wall PLEASE come to NC STATE!!!" that was run by an N.C. State student. Wall is considered by many recruiting analysts to be the nation's top unsigned senior basketball player. In essence, it's yet another example of the NCAA attempting to put its fingers in every possible detail of college athletics — even the ones it can't possibly control.
