Ty Lawson, who led North Carolina to the NCAA championship last month, has hired Jeff Fried as his agent. Lawson, a junior point guard, declared for the NBA draft a few weeks ago. Lawson, who averaged 16.6 points and 6.6 assists last season, is projected as a late-lottery to mid-first-round pick. Fried has plenty of experience representing point guards, counting Steve Francis and Monta Ellis among his list of clients.
