Nicks wants to find role, not replace Plaxico
Posted May 17, 2009
Hakeem Nicks lined up to the left of the formation, wiggling his fingers as he awaited the snap. As quarterback Andre Woodson faded back to pass, Nicks broke from the line of scrimmage, sprinting upfield. Woodson lofted a high pass, and Nicks leaped for the ball, bobbling it momentarily but making the catch over two defenders. A sign of things to come? The Giants sure hope so.
