ACC Player of the Year Dustin Ackley homered twice and drove in four runs, and right-hander Adam Warren tossed a career-best 8 1/3 innings Wednesday as No. 4 North Carolina opened the 2009 ACC Baseball Championship with an 8-3 win over Duke at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Ackley, who grabbed a share of the conference lead with his 18th and 19th home runs, was 3-for-5 with his second four-RBI game in the last three outings.
