Dustin Ackley Becomes Carolina's First Three-Time All-America

UNC junior first baseman Dustin Ackley claimed first-team Louisville Slugger All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball newspaper Thursday, becoming the first three-time All-America selection in Tar Heel baseball history. The 2009 ACC Player of the Year, Ackley enters the 2009 NCAA Chapel Hill Regional with a .399 average, a career-best 20 home runs and 61 RBI.
