James McAdoo vying for U16 basketball team

Norfolk Christian's James McAdoo has been named to the 20-member USA Basketball Developmental Team and will head to Colorado Springs, Colo., next week hoping to earn a spot on this summer's U16 National Team. Following a week-long camp beginning June 6, that group of 20 will be whittled to 12 to compete in the FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Mendoza, Argentina, June 17-21. McAdoo, a 6-foot-8-1/2, 210-pound power forward, will work out with the team June 6-12 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
