Tar Heels speed things up

For eight minutes, North Carolina versus Washington State plodded along and the Tar Heels kept searching for a burst, anything to jerk the game out of slow motion and get their fans, and themselves, revved up. The Cougars, however, held the wheel and drove ever so slowly. "It got real frustrating a few times," North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson said. "It was something like 18-16 and Tyler (Hansbrough) couldn't get any shots." (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
