Forgive Hakeem Nicks for sailing the first pitch high at Citi Field on Thursday night. He hasn't played baseball since, well, ever. "I was just always a football and basketball player growing up," said Nicks, a wide receiver from North Carolina who the Giants chose with the 29th pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. (Newark Star-Ledger)
