Dustin Ackley, bat still wowing years later

North Carolina players have memories of Dustin Ackley that go back 10 years, and most seem to involve the kind of record-setting hitting performance he produced Tuesday. Ackley and Tar Heels teammate Kyle Seager played against each other in AAU games when they were 11. “It never failed – he'd lead off the game with a home run,” said Seager. When Ackley arrived at UNC, not much had changed.
