Veterans Highlight Diamond Heels' Award Winners

Juniors Dustin Ackley, Kyle Seager and Alex White and senior Adam Warren, who helped lead UNC to an ACC-record four straight College World Series appearances, were honored as the Tar Heels' most valuable players for 2009. Ackley and Seager received the S.H. Basnight Award as the teams' most valuable players, while Warren and White were honored with the S.H. Basnight Award for the squad's most valuable pitchers.
