ACC prospects lead U.S. to basketball gold

If and Quinn Cook elect to play ACC basketball, they're unlikely to find the hostile road crowds any more daunting than what they encountered Sunday in Mendoza, Argentina. Competing in a sold-out bandbox that seated 3,000, McAdoo and Quinn helped the United States defeat Argentina 101-87 in the gold-medal game of the FIBA Americas Under 16 Championships. A 6-foot-8 rising junior from Norfolk Christian, McAdoo scored 20 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. (Daily Press)
