It was a night few fans thought they'd ever see again: Julius Peppers dressed in the Carolina Panther blue and black and wearing No. 90, just like in the good ol’ days. After a tumultuous offseason centered on where his football future might take him, the four-time Pro Bowl defensive end was thrilled to shift the focus to something he’s more comfortable talking about – playing football.
