UNC championship rings tell success story
Posted Sep 14, 2009
Becoming a national champion has a ring to it. For North Carolina, a large white-gold ring that includes 14 shiny accent stones (for the number of ACC victories in 2008-09), five title trophies (for the number of NCAA championships the program has won) and a tiny Tar Heel foot etched on the inside (just for fun). "I'm not a big bling-bling guy," Tyler Hansbrough said. "But this ring really shows off all the hard work we put in."
