Ty Lawson wishes he'd left UNC after one year

To Ty Lawson, the only thing better than being in the NBA now would have been to get to this level earlier. And had he not had a small case of stage fright, Lawson said he would have declared for the NBA draft after his freshman season at North Carolina. Instead, he remained in college two more years. "After my freshman year, I really should have left," Lawson said. But I learned a lot of things under Roy Williams. I matured a lot."
