Tar Heels appear to have bypassed backcourt injury curse

The Tar Heels still aren’t running at Roy Williams’ preferred pace and may not until the NCAA tournament. Ty Lawson predicts he will be at full speed by then, with the benefit of possibly playing three games in three days to bring a return to the timing he is missing. And even if he tweaks his ankle again, the fears of another glorious season ruined by the bad luck of an ill-timed backcourt injury could be lessened for the Tar Heels’ faithful.
