Butch Davis: Talk about Bowden's job situation 'awkward' and 'unfair'

Even though Butch Davis said he hasn't really followed the upheaval surrounding Bobby Bowden this season, he did acknowledge Wednesday that it's a difficult situation. "I think it's an awkward thing; it has to be," Davis said. "I think it's unfair, ... and I hate to even say unfair. What he has done at Florida State is incredible. He's had longevity. He's brought them national acclaim." (Durham Herald-Sun)
