Joe Kinderwater Named Progress Energy Performer Of The Week


led the UNC men's swimming and diving team to an upset win over the University of Georgia and is the Progress Energy Tar Heel of the Week for October 19-25, 2009. A junior from Lancaster, Pa., Kinderwater keyed the 156-144 win over the Bulldogs with a victory in the 1000-yard freestyle over 2009 NCAA champion Troy Prinsloo and a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle.
