A Splendid Result

Who could have foreseen that North Carolina could take so much adversity and turn it into such a splendid result when Ty Lawson suffered a severe sprained ankle on Feb. 3 at Florida State? When Duke defeated the Tar Heels 89-78 in UNC's first game without Lawson, finishing first in the final conference regular-season standings seemed highly unlikely for UNC. (Tar Heel Daily)
