2nd UNC suspect charged in Duke killing


Durham police early today arrested Lawrence Alvin Lovett Jr., the second suspect in the slaying of UNC-Chapel Hill student , and charged him also with the death in January of a Duke graduate student. Lovett, 17, surrendered peacefully about 4:16 a.m. after negotiating with police from a home in South Durham. (Raleigh News & Observer)
