Ty Lawson expected to start in ACC Tournament
Posted Mar 13, 2008
Ty Lawson will return to North Carolina’s starting lineup on Friday in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals for the first time in 10 games since being sidelined by a sprained left ankle. Coach Roy Williams said yesterday that he is ready to start Lawson, a sophomore point guard. Williams said he has seen progress in the three games in which Lawson has played, as a reserve, since March 1. Lawson said that he is 80- to 85-percent recovered from the injury.
