Butch Davis: “Ludicrous” to think Miami game isn’t special

Saturday’s game between the Hurricanes and North Carolina will mark the third consecutive year that Tar Heels coach Butch Davis will face UM, where he served as head coach from 1995-2000. Davis was asked Wednesday afternoon on the ACC’s football coaches conference telephone call if the game still carries extra meaning for him. “It would be ludicrous to think there isn’t some special significance,” said Davis.
