Posted Mar 12, 2008
Durham police detained a person of interest in the Eve Carson case Wednesday morning and turned him over to Chapel Hill authorities, sources told N.C. Wanted. Authorities were questioning him. Members of the media swarmed the Chapel Hill Police Department, but it was unclear when authorities would hold a news conference. Carson was found shot to death a week ago about a half-mile from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she served as student body president.
