Post-Match Notes From The NCAA Women's Soccer Championship Game


North Carolina won its 20th NCAA championship and 21st national collegiate championship in women's soccer Sunday against Stanford. The Tar Heels have won NCAA crowns in 1982, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2010. The 1981 team won the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women national title. (Tar Heel Blue)
