Bowl could give Tar Heels more evidence of progress


When North Carolina plays Pittsburgh in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Dec. 26 in Charlotte, it ought to be the best performance of the season for the Tar Heels, their coach said. And they might need just that to avoid a second loss in as many years in the postseason. “You should have some reasonable expectations of getting better as the season goes on,” said North Carolina coach .
