Tim Brewster, Julius Peppers share college ties

Minnesota Gophers head football coach Tim Brewster was also an assistant at North Carolina and Texas, and in the NFL with the Chargers and Broncos, but says without a doubt one of the best players he has been involved with is Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers, whom he recruited out of Bailey, N.C., for the Tar Heels in 1998 while working for current Texas coach Mack Brown.
