Tar Heels dispatch Florida State on Senior Night

UNC closed the home portion of its season and, at one juncture, nearly started another saga involving point guard Ty Lawson. But by the end, there was little drama as the top-ranked Tar Heels throttled Florida State 90-77. Lawson, who left the game briefly with another injury, returned to the court in the second half and senior Quentin Thomas, who has been starting in Lawson’s place at point guard, received a hero’s send-off.
