Ty Lawson got hurt. Tyler Hansbrough scored a bunch of points. Surry Wood had a career high. North Carolina kept an ACC opponent at arm's length. Starting in place of Deon Thompson, Wood scored four of UNC's first nine points to get the Smith Center crowd into the game. Fellow senior Quentin Thomas later finished Senior Night off right with an emphatic dunk in the Tar Heels' 90-77 win over Florida State on Tuesday.
