Duke bedevils UNC
Posted Feb 11, 2010
Duke took ownership of the Smith Center backboards last night to pound away inside against exasperated UNC and take a 64-54 victory, maintaining its hold on first place in the ACC. Grabbing 23 offensive rebounds, Duke hit follow shots, forced fouls for free throws and complemented nine 3-point field goals. It maintained control inside despite the absence of Lance Thomas, who missed the last 17:20 after injuring his right knee.
