UNC baseball faces long climb back to top


UNC junior Colin Bates admitted it was a little weird walking into the locker room for the first time this fall and not seeing first-round MLB draft picks and , as well as draftees , Mark Fleury, and Brian Moran. But with the Tar Heels’ season set to start Friday against George Washington (3 p.m.) at Boshamer Stadium, Bates also said he has gotten over that weirdness. (Durham Herald-Sun)
