Ty Lawson might return for Tar Heels against Boston College

Third-ranked UNC could be close to having its point guard back in the lineup. If Ty Lawson can get through Friday's practice without pain, Williams said the sophomore might play "a few minutes" in Saturday's game at Boston College. A decision isn't expected until that morning. Williams also said forward Deon Thompson is limited with a back injury and could miss the game against the Eagles.
