Harrison Barnes puts skills on display in Ohio

’ basketball skills seemed to leave him early Monday — but fortunately the game is full of rebounds. Barnes proved himself as one of the nation’s most versatile players by placing in the top three of two individual competitions Monday night in the McDonald’s All-American Jam Fest at Value City Arena. The Ames guard took second in the boys’ Skills Race. He followed that with a third-place finish in the 3-Point Shoot-Out. (Des Moines Register)
