Mike Fox said goodbye to Dustin Ackley, Alex White, Kyle Seager, Adam Warren and others after last season’s College World Series trip, UNC’s fourth in four seasons. So, some drop-off seemed inevitable. But the Tar Heels began the season ranked in all the polls and nobody saw this coming. Youth is a problem but a shaky bullpen is an even bigger culprit. North Carolina has blown six saves already this season.
